Allen Pyke won a design competition to construct a 1000 bed student campus for Aberystwyth University as part of a PFI bid. Set on a prominent hillside location above Aberystwyth, the proposals also include a communal centre with green roof and a management plan for the existing woodland on site. Concept designs have been developed to tender stage with the construction period scheduled for 2013-2014.

The project aims to secure the accommodation requirements for the planned expansion of the University over the next decade.
