Tristram Bushby

Tristram became a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute in May 2016. He comes from a background in fine art where urban and rural landscape themes were explored at the macro scale through photography, painting and site specific sculpture. After gaining qualifications in Landscape Architecture he worked for a number of private practices on a range of high profile projects and joined Allen Pyke Associates in 2012. Tristram is experienced in landscape and townscape assessments and heads up our Landscape and Visual Assessment team.

Within the office he is able to apply his core skills which lie in an understanding of the contexts and specific needs of a site, applying sound ecological principles and his strong horticultural knowledge in order to create dynamic and deliverable design solutions. He is working on a range of projects including high density riverside projects through to large scale multi-phased residential masterplans. Tristram is also an active committee member for the London Branch of the Landscape Institute, organising and coordinating CPD and social events for the members.

Tristram makes an exceptional almond and apple cake and is very particular about how he takes his tea.
