In 2013 Allen Pyke Associates were commissioned to undertake landscape and visual impact assessments for a number of solar farms in Devon and Cornwall. Following a robust methodology based on GLVIA3 we undertook desk based assessments and a series of site visits to ascertain the potential impact on landscape character and the visual amenity from a number of views points. An illustrated report was produced for each project which were submitted as part of the clients planning application.
