Allen Pyke Associates were appointed by Oundle School to improve the landscape to the rear of three of the boarding houses that had evolved organically, lacking a sense of place and with a car dominance.

The proposals improve the recreational space, parking facilities and traffic management through a strongly defined, sinuous shared surfaced promenade, planting and carefully integrated seating walls, in local stone, that define recreational areas associated with each House. Allen Pyke lead the design team working well with the client, arboricultural and engineering consultants to provide a well coordinated and exciting landscape.
