Visiting Queen Elizabeth Park

On the Wednesday April 30th both our Cambridge and Kingston offices met up for a CPD afternoon in east London. We re-visited a few well known sites including Alain Provost’s Thames Barrier Park and nearby developments, including some of our own projects along the way, such as Caspian Wharf beside the Limehouse Cut Canal.

We then made our way to the recently reopened Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We had visited the park during the Paralympics in 2012, so it was really interesting to the see how the open spaces had been changed by new planting, changes to surfaces and new uses. We particularly enjoyed testing out the new play areas!

At Allen Pyke we believe professional development is very important and support our staff with regular lunchtime CPD presentations and training days.
