Planning Permission Granted for Care Home and Dwellings in Bracknell
Danescroft Land Ltd have confirmed full planning permission has been granted for their site on Cain Road, Bracknell, consisting of a 68 bed care home and 50 dwellings. Allen Pyke have been retained by Danescroft to provide detailed proposals to discharge landscape-related planning conditions.
Care provider Barchester have also appointed Allen Pyke for landscape services. An accessible garden was designed for the residents of the care home to include, circular walks, sensory planting, seating arbours/pergolas, water features and bird feeding stations. Ground floor rooms also benefit from semi-private terraces and direct access to communal outside eating terraces. Landscape proposals around the dwellings incorporate a permanently wet SuDS basin and a pocket park alongside Turnpike Road as well as generous landscape buffers as part of site wide proposals to a Biodiversity Net Gain for the scheme.
The proposal includes an accessible garden for the residents of the care home to enjoy, which will also include circular walks, sensory planting, seating arbours/pergolas, water features and a bird feeding station.
