Planning Approval Secured at Fieldhead Gardens, Bourne End

We were delighted to receive the news just before Christmas that Fieldhead Gardens, Bourne End was granted planning approval at appeal, a fantastic way to close the year.

This scheme had a complex planning history, including multiple appeals, with the previous decision having been quashed. While earlier matters had been addressed, concerns relating to landscape character and green space designation remained central to refusal.

Allen Pyke Associates were commissioned to prepare a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Landscape Statement in support of the recent appeal. Our Associate, Tristram Bushby, attended the hearing as Expert Witness, presenting evidence focused on:

  • Protecting local landscape character
  • Addressing green space designation concerns
  • Demonstrating sensitive integration within the existing landscape

The appeal was allowed, and we are proud to have contributed clear, robust landscape evidence to support a sustainable outcome.
