Graylingwell: Update – Designing places with heritage + community at their heart
We’ve been involved in the Graylingwell project in Chichester since 2012, a transformative development delivering over 1,500 new homes on the historic site of a former Victorian hospital. The original estate was designed around pioneering principles, airing courts, orchards and a farm, encouraging residents to connect with nature as part of their wellbeing. We continue to honour this legacy through thoughtful landscape design rooted in community, ecology and place.
Last week, we were pleased to reconnect with the project team to progress the reserved matters details for the Chapel Lawn, one of the final phases of the scheme. This central green space will sit at the heart of new housing and apartment blocks, providing valuable open amenity for residents and linking the new development back to the site’s rich landscape heritage.
We look forward to helping deliver this meaningful final chapter in a project we’ve proudly supported for over a decade.
