Allen Pyke were appointed by Bouygues to prepare landscape proposals for the new Hounslow Borough Council Civic Centre building with roof terraces and associated public realm in Hounslow Town Centre.

We worked closely with architects, Shepard Robson to design an attractive urban landscape that complemented the architecture of the building. The design responded to challenging site constraints including security, access and various service provisions, which restricted areas of soft landscape. Allen Pyke created a dynamic public realm with security features designed to be seating elements and a dynamic paving design that was transformed with lighting in the evenings.

Planning permission was granted in March 2016.
