Planning Permission Granted for Frank Towell Court Residential Development in Hounslow

Planning consent was granted for 102 new affordable council rented homes within 6 buildings across an existing 1950’s housing estate in Feltham, Hounslow. The new development consists of flats, Maisonettes and mews houses.

The public realm has been re-designed to provide plethora of spaces integrating the new buildings with the existing. The proposals include a fully equipped play area, shared surface, mews street, riverside pocket park and an informal natural play area. Incidental seating has been integrated across the site and a formal site entrance with gardens. The new development is car free providing disabled and visitors parking only, where parking is re-provided for the existing development.

The proposals have been designed with an emphasis on creating landscapes that really benefit wildlife. Various habitats and features will be implemented including bird and bat boxes, log piles, hedgehog boxes and compost heap while plant species will be predominantly native or of known value to wildlife.
